Japlanning 🌸
A lot of people I know have been going or planning to go to Japan and have asked about any suggestions, tips etc from me. So, I've just put it all down here to make it as (hopefully) easy as possible.
Everything that is in here is based on what we have actually done, with the odd "on the next trip I plan to..." I can't stand all the content that is around in blogs, TikToks etc that are "here are the top 10 things to do...when in X you have to..." etc. It's always just the same things, and rarely with any actual info on what that thing actually is like. Ok, great to have some suggestions of popular or fun activities, but what are they actually like?
The last point is that our experiences are always built around what will be fun for us and the kids. That often trends kid-centric because the old adage of "happy wife, happy life" is actually "happy kids, not mental breakdown parents". It doesn't rhyme, so isn't as catchy, but it's definitely the real one.
